Adobe Systems Inc and Samsung Electronics have announced the release of Samsung’s uGo active homescreen based on Adobe Flash Lite 2 technology.Jointly developed by the two companies, uGo will be integrated across Samsung’s next-generation Ultra Edition mobile phones, starting with flagship model, the SGH-D900.
Phones with the screen technology would be able to display landmark icons for when a user is travelling – such as the Arch de Triumphe for France and Neuschwanstein Castle for Germany.
Or, the phone screen can be set to display a blue sky for daytime and stars for night time. Text message notifications would also reflect the time of day the missives were sent.
